Terms of Service

Effective date: April 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gorganizer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Gorganizer is a Gmail inbox cleaning tool. It connects to your Google account via OAuth 2.0, scans your inbox using automated scoring signals, and — with your explicit action — moves detected junk to Gmail's Trash folder and organizes other emails with labels.

The Service has two tiers:

  • Free tier: scan up to 100 emails and preview results. No cleaning.
  • Unlocked tier: one-time payment of $4.99. Unlimited cleaning and all features.

3. Google Account Access

To use the Service, you must sign in with a Google account. You grant Gorganizer the following Gmail permissions:

  • gmail.modify: read email metadata, move emails to Trash, and apply labels.

We do not store the content of your emails on our servers. All email processing happens in real-time during your session. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

4. Payment and Refunds

The Unlocked tier is a one-time payment of $4.99, processed by Stripe. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. The unlock is permanent for your account.

If you are not satisfied, contact us at support@gorganizer.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

5. Safety and Data Integrity

Gorganizer has hardcoded safety rules that cannot be overridden:

  • Starred emails are never touched.
  • Emails with PDF or Word document attachments are never trashed.
  • Calendar invites (.ics files) are never trashed.
  • Emails with invoice or receipt keywords are never trashed.
  • Emails that are replies or forwards are never trashed.
  • All moves go to Gmail's Trash (30-day recovery window). Permanent deletion is never performed.

Because all moves go to Gmail's Trash with a 30-day recovery window, no permanent data loss results from misclassification. Your exclusive remedy for a misclassified email is to restore it from Trash within 30 days. We recommend reviewing the scan preview before executing a clean. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by mandatory consumer-protection law.

6. Aggregated Learning — How We Improve the Service

Plain English: When you tell us an email is trash (or keep it out of trash), we note that pattern at the sender-domain level — not the content level — and use it to make the user-facing scoring feature you see in your dashboard. We never read, store, or share your email content.

Specifically, we may retain the following aggregated and de-identified data:

  • Sender-domain counts (e.g. "newsletter.example.com was trashed 1,237 times across all users")
  • Per-signal precision/recall stats (e.g. "the QR-quishing signal had 2 false-positives this week")
  • Engine-action outcomes (clean vs protect vs review), without any per-message identifiers

What we do NOT use for learning:

  • Email subject lines, bodies, or attachments
  • Sender email addresses (only the domain portion is aggregated)
  • Your personal metadata (name, account ID, OAuth token)

This usage stays fully within Google's Limited Use requirements because it (a) improves a user-facing feature (the scoring engine you see), and (b) is aggregated and de-identified per Google's own exception. See our Privacy Policy section 3 for the exact Limited Use disclosure language.

Opt out at any time: email support@gorganizer.com and we will exclude your account from the learning pipeline within 48 hours. This does not affect the Service — the engine keeps working for you regardless.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use the Service to access Gmail accounts you do not own or have authorization to access.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the scoring algorithm.
  • Use automated scripts to abuse the API endpoints.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service.

8. Availability and Changes

We provide the Service "as is" without uptime guarantees. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gorganizer's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Gorganizer in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100). Gorganizer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

Consumers in the EU/EEA: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for (i) death or personal injury caused by negligence, (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, (iii) gross negligence or willful misconduct, or (iv) any other liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. Your statutory rights under Swedish Konsumentköplagen, Konsumenttjänstlagen, and EU Directives 93/13/EEC (Unfair Contract Terms), 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights), and 2019/770 (Digital Content) are not affected.

10. Indemnification (by User)

You agree to hold Gorganizer harmless from third-party claims arising from (a) your unauthorized access to Gmail accounts you do not own, (b) your violation of Section 7 (Prohibited Uses), or (c) your violation of applicable law. This clause does NOT apply to EU/EEA consumers except to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law.

11. Disputes, Governing Law, and Jurisdiction

If you reside in the EU/EEA: These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and mandatory consumer protections of that country apply. Swedish residents: Stockholm tingsrätt or your local tingsrätt, at your option.

If you reside in the United States: These Terms are governed by California law and the Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. §§ 1-16). You and Gorganizer agree to resolve disputes exclusively through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. CLASS ACTION WAIVER: claims may only be brought individually, not on a class, collective, or representative basis. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or preside over any form of a class proceeding.

30-day opt-out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@gorganizer.com with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your account email. Opting out does not affect your rights under these Terms in any other way.

All other users: Swedish law and Stockholm tingsrätt, with mandatory local consumer protections preserved.

Severability: if any part of this section is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in force, and any unenforceable language will be replaced with the closest enforceable version that matches the original intent, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
